Exactly ten years ago today I was on Zanzibar. At the time I specifically agreed to remember today’s date – it seemed so far away as to feel quite irrelevant at the time. Now that ten years have passed I wonder how much life has changed since then, but it also drives home how easily a decade can go by (and how much can change in the meantime). I wonder what life will be like in 2017…

With all the Live Earth Al Gore publicity I would highly recommend getting some antidote. Check out this BBC documentary which adds some balance to the one-sided Inconvenient Truth. It’s 8 x 10 minutes by the way, but is definitely worth it.
